Yin yoga and Vinyasa Yoga Classes | Emma

What: Yin Yoga | Friday’s from  19:30 – 20:45
Vinyasa Yoga | Saturday’s from  09:30 – 10:45

Costs: 9 euro per class , pay as you go. Both classes are weekly drop-in classes taught in English

Level:These classes are designed for all levels, so everyone is welcome. But please bring your own yogamat.

Yoga is great for increasing your strength, flexibility, for reducing stress and allowing for greater relaxation. You don’t need to be flexible, fit or spiritual to start practicing yoga. All you need to do is to step on the mat and have fun! Starting this September I will teach two classes per week, one 75 minute Yin Yoga class and one 75 minute Vinyasa Yoga class at Cloud/Danslab.
In a Yin Yoga class we will hold the postures, asanas, for 3-5 minutes, which makes Yin Yoga a more slow-paced form of yoga. In Yin Yoga we stimulate the organs, immune system and joints, while allowing the muscles to relax. Not only has this class positive effects on the body, Yin Yoga is also designed to improve the flow of energy through the energetic channels (meridians) to improve emotional well-being.
Vinyasa Yoga is a form of Yoga in which the poses, asanas, are linked together to form a flowing sequence. Vinyasa means “connection of breath and movement”, thus in this class we will smoothly transition from pose to pose guided by our breath. As a result we work on our physical strength, flexibility and endurance. Everyone can join this class, the class will be designed for beginners, but more challenging options are available for students who want to deepen their yoga practice.
