CLOUD/Danslab is looking for new board members to support the growth of a multidisciplinary, independent, artist-driven association working at the intersection of dance, performance, research, and education. We are looking for people who believe that art is an essential part of life. We warmly invite curious candidates to apply for a position on our board.
About CLOUD/Danslab
CLOUD/Danslab is a space for artistic development, exchange, and community building. We support artists and projects, cultivate partnerships, and create space for experimentation, reflection, and public engagement. Our approach is community-based: shared responsibility, active listening, and collective direction.
We are looking for culture enthusiast who feel that art is an essential part of life and want to contribute to a space that supports artists from all walks of life.
Roles and profiles
Your tasks will be distributed across portfolios depending on your interests.
Here are the possible roles/portfolios:
-Chair
-Secretary
-Treasurer
-General board member
What we ask
-Affinity with dance, performance, art, and community-building.
-Availability for 3 board meetings per year (plus possible preparation or occasional coordination).
-Integrity and a collaborative mindset.
-Cultural/non-profit experience is welcome but not required.
What we offer
-A meaningful role in a flexible, community-driven arts association.
-A platform to explore artistic ideas.
– Expenses will be reimbursed by agreement and/or studio time.
Practical
Start: as soon as possible.
Meetings: 3 per year (hybrid/online or in-person, to be agreed).
